Jewel strawberry plants are a premier June-bearing variety known for producing large, glossy, bright red, and firm fruit with excellent flavor. Ideal for home gardens and U-pick operations, these hardy plants thrive in USDA Zones 4-8. They are self-pollinating and produce high yields, typically starting in their second year.

  • Flavor & Texture: Sweet, aromatic, and firm.
  • Sunlight: Requires full sun, minimum 6–8 hours daily.
  • Soil: Prefers well-draining, nutrient-rich soil with a pH of 5.5–6.5.
  • Spacing: Plant crowns 12–18 inches apart to allow for spread.
  • Care: Remove flowers in the first year to strengthen the root system.
  • Disease Resistance: Highly resistant to common strawberry diseases
